hairsite.com – if you want biased information on hair restoration

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

FUE Clinics has now been around since April 2008 and we have had steady growth, patients both old and new have had fue hair transplant surgery with us. We have continued to grow without the need for expensive advertising campaigns, google adwords (pay-per-click) or any unfair messing with internet content.

We have just had good results and have offered honest advise to all the patients who take the time to meet with our hair professionals. We are never pushy, because we know people will make the right choice without the need to force them to use our clinic.

I recently had a request to post before and after photographs from several people on hairsite.com which after taking the time to register by my real name (not a anonymous handle) duly did. Within hours my post had been doctored and my photos removed. I received the following email for the owner;

Hi Jeremy,
I see that you are now promoting your clinic in our forum. I hope you will respect that fact that we have to be fair to other doctors who are paying for the privilege to have their website and email address etc published in the forum.
Please consult us first before you explicitly advertise your clinic in our forum.
Thank you.

Posting photos is now “explicitly” advertising on their forum.

So the next day I got this email from them;

We understand how everybody wants to benefit from the forum without paying.
You are welcome to post, just do not overtly advertise and promote your website address and clinic’s contact information, uploading your brochures etc. like you did previously.  I understand that it is nice to be able to drum up sales while shifting the cost of advertising to other people. We just prefer to run the site in a way that is fair for everyone involved. That’s all.
Thank you.

No I just want to reply to a number of patients who want honest information, not sure if hairsite.com want that.

Anyhow, I’ve been banned from

People who are paid to post blogs, it’s wrong and illegal!

Firstly here at FUE clinics we offer the very best in FUE hair transplantation, as you can see from icfireplace comments posted on out comments pages on YouTube, there are people on the internet who are paid by companies to spread hate and misinformation on the internet, information that some people read and believe. Bad comments about FUE clinics are false and untrue and all are from people who are nameless and can not be confirmed or proven. Ask for proof of any negative comment, and send it to us here at the clinic so we can pursue any complaint if they are our patient or pass it on to our legal team to root out malicious and libelous postings.

If you are considering hair restoration, before you do anything do research, research and more research. Don’t be fooled or book with the first clinic you see, talk to patients who have had surgery with the doctor, don’t just book with a clinic, find out about the doctor and his team, they are the most important and the ones who will give you the best transplant or the worst.

Please feel free to read our patient comments book at http://www.fueclinics.com for true stories and comments from our patients, all in their own hand.

What do you think? Please email me here at the clinic jeremy.isherwood@fueclinics.com

Thanks.
